Police in Italy are hunting the killers of a Camorra mafia boss of clan secessionist Scampia who was gunned down on a beach south of the capital, Rome, in front of terrified bathers.
Two men attacked Gaetano Marino, who was reportedly shot when he came out of the water at Terracina to answer a call on his mobile phone.

Old NY Mobster "Matty The Horse" Ianniello Dies At 92

A New York mobster who was well-known for transforming Times Square into a center for adult entertainment has died. According to several published reports, Matthew "Matty The Horse" Ianniello died Wednesday after a long illness.

The one-time head of the Genovese crime family, Ianniello owned or protected many topless bars and other adult establishments in Times Square in the 1960s and '70s. Ianniello served two stints in prison, including an 18-month sentence after pleading guilty to racketeering in 2007.





He was a part-owner of Umberto's Clam House and was there the night Joey Gallo was killed by Colombo crime family hitmen. A death notice says he is survived by his four children, 7 siblings, and 10 grandchildren. Matthew Ianniello was 92.
