John Di Mattia was a dismal failure as a mobster. He roared like a lion, but he was really as meek as a mouse. John was tall and rugged looking too, but then again, so was Rock Hudson. DiMattia was asked to prove his mob mettle on a hit and he faked a heart attack to get out of it. He used a bad back too. His back went out more than he did.
